Samira Bawumia is only a ‘celebrity slay queen’ – Mzbel mocks NPP

Controversial Ghanaian singer Nana Akua Amoah known on stage as Mzbel has been spotted in a Facebook live video mocking the Second Lady, Mrs Samira Bawumia.

The ’16-year-old’ hitmaker with 3 of her friends described the second lady as a slay queen always looking for the opportunity to appear on red carpets at events.

She compared Mrs Lordina Mahama’s days in office as the First Lady to that of Samira Bawumia.

“As for Lordina Mahama, she hardly talks; she is always busy working and you won’t find her attending events such as the red carpet you won’t ever see her there, unlike Samira who is a celebrity will take advantage of the slightest opportunity to appear on the red carpet and even Kumkum Bhagya events.’’

Mzbel and her friends alleged that Mrs Samira during the election campaign insulted the then Mahama-led administration at an NPP rally at the Trade Fair Centre.

She made reference to how Dr Bawumia constantly tagged former president Mahama as incompetent but are (Bawumia and NPP) now struggling woefully in keeping up their promise since their assumption.

“They were always saying Mahama is incompetent and now that they’ve come they can’t see anything. They were bragging about working under Kufuor and thus know more. They thought it was easy,” Mzbel and her friends said amidst laughter.

Amidst the laughter, Mzbel also confessed her love for the second Lady, ‘she really looks beautiful and I admire her.’’
