After being signed by a Ghanaian record label AK Studio Music, the Nigerian artiste Sammy Lee Jons has gotten his first cake of stage on 1st October 2011 as he climbs the same ladder with Movado- the Jamaican artiste.
The artiste whose real name is Adewunni Samuel Ayobomi is all set to crack the show on 1st October inside Accra Sports Stadium with his latest hit single ‘Oshamo’ ft Seyi and Ogee. Management of Sammy Lee Jons revealed that the man who can play four musical instruments and also triples as a singer, rapper and record producer is currently in the studios working on another gig that will electrify Ghanaians when released.
The untitled single is set to be released as a push ahead of the Movado concert and afterwards becomes another stain in the minds of people. On his tweeter page Sammy disclosed that fans should come to the Movado concert expecting some fireworks, even though it is not his first time on a big stage it is his first time on the biggest stage with the Jamaican artiste including other fellow Ghanaian dancehall kings like Samini.
‘I love dancehall, as a versatile artiste I look at fitting in all corners or genres of music plus I always look at every stage as a big challenge but exciting, hence it will be fireworks, fans should make sure they have their lighters come October 1st, Sammy stressed.
From a humble beginning of 6 years of underground Sammy stands on the same stage with Movado, an accomplishment he will love to end with a spectacular performance.
