Sarah evicted from Vodafone Icons Street edition

Sarah, a contestant at the Vodafone Icons Street edition has been evicted from the reality show.

Among the seven contestants left in the keenly contested reality show, Sarah and Marion were selected for eviction after receiving the least votes from the voting public.

However, per the rule of the reality show, the judges could save one of the contestants who had excelled in the competition and two of the judges namely Miss Gena and Miss Naa opted to save Marion while Appietus went in for Sarah.

Since Marion had the support of the majority of judges, Sarah who had on previous occasions escaped two evictions was asked to leave and her dream of winning the record deal with the famous Universal studios among other great prizes had come to an end.

Last week's show was on the theme: "Old School", with the contestant singing songs from famous artistes like of Paul Simon, Cool and the gang, Tina Turner, Montel Jordan, Gladys Knight, Whitney Houston and MC Hammer.

Fans can keep their favourites in the competition by sending their name and “Yes” to 3030 on Vodafone and to 1732 on other networks.

Viewers can watch the Icons perform on Sundays at 6pm on Metro, 7pm on GH One and Cine Afrik and Wednesdays at 8pm on Viasat1 and 9pm on GTV.
