Ghanaian celebrities and music lovers on Sunday, February 2, 2020 took to Twitter to mourn the death of highlife artiste Kofi Boakye Yiadom, aka Kofi B.
The multiple award-winning musician passed away after performing at a concert in the Central Region of Ghana.
His colleague musician Kofi Nti said Kofi B started complaining of chest pains and unusual heartbeat right after his performance thus rushed him to the Cape Coast Hospital where he died at 3 a.m. on Sunday.
According to reports the ‘Bantama Kofi Boakye’ hitmaker was restless with very high body temperature and an unusual blood pressure 150/120.
His body has been transported to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi for storage and autopsy.
