Two gurus in the Ghana music fraternity have gone beyond just the social media campaign, the #FreeKwawKese movement to actually show their face at the prison’s facility where he is being held.
Music Producer and Director of the Last Two Music Group, Edward Nana Poku a.k.a Hammer of the last two together with the “baddest rapper alive” Sarkodie left the capital, Accra, to see Kwaw Kese in the facility located in Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi.
The two are among some popular individuals in the entertainment industry who have started a campaign to get the controversial rapper, freed after he was arrested and remanded for smoking weed.
A Kumasi Circuit Court on Monday November 24, remanded the popular Ghanaian rapper to two weeks in prison custody ahead of the next hearing on December 8.
Abodam, as he is popularly known, was arraigned in Judge William Boampong's court for using a narcotic drug without lawful authority.
The court denied the rapper’s lawyer Nana Kwesi Boitie’s plea for his client to be granted bail ahead of the second hearing date.
