Sarkodie and Tracy’s love story

Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie, tied the knot on the 22nd of July 2018 with his long-term girlfriend Tracy Sarkcess.

The two lovebirds are the longest standing celebrity couple, they have been together for 13 years already. Undoubtedly, we are all wishing Sarkodie and Tracy live happily ever after.

Their relationship began before Sarkodie became the famous star he is right now. In a song released at the beginning of 2017, literally at the beginning, on January 1st, Sarkodie describes how he fell for Tracy.

The song, “Just in case” is dedicated to Tracy is a declaration o his undying love for her and his appreciation for her being by his side.

How did Sarkodie and Tracy Sarkcess meet?



According to the song, Sarkodie noticed her way back when they were kids and had a crush on her ever since. He did not have the courage to ask her out at first and this was the case for a while.

We still cannot ascertain how Sarkodie met Tracy to ask her out, but when he finally did the two went on to quickly become the model celebrity couple they are today.

Their relationship, whose first photo is from 2006, has since bloomed in to more than just a relationship, the two have a baby together, her name is Titi, more on her later.

Sarkodie and Tracy break up rumours



As you can expect with all celebrity couples, there are bound to be a flood of rumours about a break up or some sort of relationship drama every now and then. Sarkodie and girlfriend Tracy were no exception.

There have been rumours on social media, such as a post on Facebook about a Sarkodie and Tracy break up but none have been true.

Sarkodie and Tracy get a baby



In March of 2016, the Sarkodie baby hype came to a climax after the birth of Adalyn Addo, also known as Titi.

The two-year-old daughter of Sarkodie and then long-term girlfriend Tracy is treasured and has been the subject of many heart-warming Instagram posts by the couple. The most notable is a picture of Titi dressed up like a lawyer.

After her birth, Sarkodie confessed to having a really hard time staying away from Tracy. In an interview with Tim Westwood, he said it was an unbearable month and Tracy did not make it easy either.

Titi has been in the limelight all her life and any Sarkodie and Tracy pictures that she is in make for a good social media frenzy.

Sarkodie and Tracy’s wedding



At the beginning of the month of June, news of Sarkodie asking for Tracy’s hand in marriage hit the airwaves.

Since that time Sarkodie has gone on to marry Tracy is a traditional wedding ceremony held on the 17th of July and then followed by a white wedding on 22nd July.

Sarkodie wedding was a glamorous, star-studded affair with performances from Sarkodie himself and Peter Okoye. Sarkodie wife, Tracy was clad in a stunning white dress and looked exceptionally beautiful on her special day.

The groom Sarkodie, was also in a white, with both the shirt and the coat matching, the colours going perfectly with the black trousers he had on.

The official photos show a purple themed reception that looked exquisite.

Sarkodie and Tracy’s marriage ceremony was no dull affair as this sneaked video shows, you can see the happy couple dancing the night away.



Official photographs of the stunning ceremony show a neat line up of groomsmen in white and black with the slightest hint of purple in their shirt linings.

The most eye-catching of these photos are the shots with Titi which are infinitely adorable.

Sarkodie and Tracy have had to endure their toughest times together as a couple and for over a decade have stayed by each other’s side. It is very likely that their marriage will be an even happier story to tell.
