Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has shared his thoughts on the constant questions he has been asked about his upcoming concert at the O2 Arena in 2027.

In a discussion with Serwaa Amihere, shared on X on October 16, 2026, Sarkodie was asked what he would do if he failed to fill the O2 Arena. He noted that there was nothing he could do about it.

According to him, if he is unable to fill the arena, so be it.

“I am one of the most bashed artistes in Ghana. If you don't fill it, you don't fill it,” he said.

Sarkodie further noted that he was not a child for people to push around by constantly pointing fingers at him and telling him what to do.

Speaking about the video of his interaction with Stonebwoy that became a topic of discussion online over a jollof saga, Sarkodie noted that he could not turn down the food when it was offered to him.

“I am not a kid for people to start pointing fingers at me, telling me what to do. I couldn't say no to the jollof. I wasn't like that, but you know, one day we will write a book someday,” he said.

Also speaking about his upcoming Rapperholic concert in Kumasi, Sarkodie noted that the people of the Ashanti Regional capital showed him massive support during his first show in the region.

He added that the enormous support he received during the previous Rapperholic concert had encouraged him to increase the size of the venue to accommodate a larger audience.

“Kumasi showed Sarkodie love, and this year we have gone way bigger. We have opened the space, so it is going to be amazing,” he added.
