Sarkodie did not pay Ace Hood for the collaboration on their new single #NewGuy, according to a report on www.georgebritton.com.
The internet and music lovers went wild when earlier widely circulated reports after a Sarkodie interview which he stated it was Ace Hood's team who contacted him for the project.
However, the American rapper via his twitter handle posted a statement about Sarkodie spreading fake rumours and dropped a bombshell on the amount he was offered before the collaboration became possible. He said he only went into the studio to record with the Sarkodie after a $25k was paid into his account.
According to the georgebritton.com, Ace Hood's outburst was fueled by reports in the media that Sarkodie in his interview, said he was begged by the American to feature on the song, which he- Ace Hood- felt bad about.
However, the website reports that there was a third party involvement in the whole deal, but confirms it is true Sarkodie was contacted by Acehood's team for the collaboration.
Nonetheless, due to the nature of the deal, they would restrain disclosing the details of the deal between both parties.
We do assure fans everything has been resolved and the new song will be released soon as planned and both Sarkodie and Ace Hood are cool.
Watch out for the release on our platform and officially on Tigo Deezer #Anticipate #NewGuy it's hot.
