Pope Skinny has bragged about his superiority in the Ghanaian rap game claiming that he is the king when it comes to rap music and Sarkodie below him.
Speaking in an interview on 3 FM, Pope Skinny stated emphatically that he’s the best rapper in Ghana followed by Sarkodie, Medikal, Flowking Stone, Cabum and Eno Barony respectively.
“I’m the ‘dopest’ rapper. I’m the first, followed by Sarkodie then Medikal, Flowking Stone, Cabum, and Eno Barony”.
According to the rapper who is also the CEO of Asuoden music, rap scene in Ghana has lost its charm; the reason why his colleague rappers Sarkodie, Kofi Kinata, Yaa Pono, et al. have resorted to singing instead of rapping.
“Ghanaians are not rapping. If you know what rap is and you listen to Ghana rap, you’ll know what I’m talking about.”
It would be recalled that Pope Skinny was the host of “Kasahari Level” on Adom FM but left to follow Shatta Wale reasons best-known to himself.
