A day after he was trolled on Twitter for posting a picture of himself in a fur coat, the multiple award-winning rapper has taken to the same twitter to educate his followers on the deadly coronavirus pandemic that has plagued Ghana and the world at large.
Sarkodie in a series of tweets sighted by Ghanaweb urged his followers to take the disease seriously.
He advised his fans and Ghanaians at large to stop the jokes about the virus, and rather adhere to the safety measure put in place by the government and health experts to stop the spread.
“I get how we would wanna use jokes and humor to go through these times (which is necessary to help with our minds) but guys this is something serious happening and we need to treat it as such ... Please let’s take the precautions serious”, one of the tweets read.
Ghana has currently confirmed 52 cases with two deaths.
