Sarkodie, you ain’t no history maker– Okyeame Quophi

TV/Radio presenter, Okyeame Quophi, a member of erstwhile hiplife group, Akyeame is not happy.

Why? you may ask, Sarkodie’s claim to have made history by performing at the Apollo Theater isn’t at all a big deal as he wants his fans to believe.

Quophi says he together with Okyeame Kwame, performed to a mixed crowd at the legendary auditorium in 2000. And their performance was witnessed by Daddy Lumba.

“Akyeame Was the first Hiplife Duo to play at the AppolloTheatre to a mix crowd so huge the police came to stop the show.This was in 2000 with daddy lumber.Don’t distort the history. Which history is in the making??”

Sarkodie headlined the History In The Making concert yesterday with performances from Ice Prince, Banky W, E.L, Shatta Wale, Bisa Kdei and many others.
