Ghana’s dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, says satan and the marine spirit known in local parlance as “Maame Water” are his fans.
In a Facebook Live video, the multiple award winning musician said God has blessed him with powers beyond what people see.
He said: “No power is bigger than God. I’ve met people who have powers, they told me the powers God has blessed me with is bigger than what you people think, so if people think they have powers, I have seen plenty things in my life…
“Don’t think and sit there and talk [anyhow], ‘maame water’ is my fan, ‘papa water’ is my fan, Satan is my fan and God knows it because I don’t offend them. So if I want anything from ‘maame water’ she will give it to me, ‘papa water’ he will give it to me even mallam he will give it to me, because God created them…”
Shatta Wale said this in response to a prophecy that he was going to die.
A Ghanaian pastor identified as Prophet Agyei Fredua Agyeman predicted the death of Shatta Wale urging Ghanaians to pray for the singer as he sees another national mourning and a tragic end of the popular singer.
Prophet-Cosmos Walker Affran wrote on his Facebook page:
“Ghana should pray, I see a national mourning again the whole nation was in tears and this time it's Ghanaian singer “Shatta Wale”, and it is very close “death”. ” Thus saith the Lord.”
Shatta Wale further cautioned the men of God who are prophesying doom for him to stop. He warned that nobody can stop him and his followers -Shatta movement- if they want to retaliate. He reiterated his earlier stance of going after the prophets and their churches if he is alive by December.
