In the era of growing concerns over environmental degradation and its impact on lives and society, a new initiative which will take effective steps towards launching a comprehensive and effective campaign to address environmental protection, Save The Environment Project (STEP) is to be launched in the first quarter of this year.

The project amongst other things seeks to complement the efforts of government and non-governmental agencies in the fight against environmental degradation; maximize key stakeholder and general public awareness on environmental issues; and encourage positive attitudes towards the environment amongst the general public.

Ms. Jasmine Nkrumah, Executive Secretary (Operations) for the Save The Environment Project explains: “The initiative is to be launched alongside Green Africa News, a unique tabloid focusing exclusively on the environment and environmental issues”.

Ms Nkrumah also commented that STEP is especially thankful to Mrs. Gladys Osae Addo, Ms. Sybil Yeboah, Mr. Samuel Sarpong; DMD Operations, G.C.B and Dr. Kwadwo Owusu for their diverse contributions towards the actualization of the project. The launch is expected to be patronized by an array of experts in the field and other distinguished guests
