“You would be surprised to know that most of the people selling on the streets are my rappers. They are people who worry me with their demos. And I can tell you that they are making a lot of money now.”

Those were the words of Hammer, MyNewsGh.com can confirm.

Weeks ago, we reported that Hammer has abandoned music to sell bread, A1 Bread and according to him, business is booming.

MyNewsGh.com has more for you this time around.

According to Hammer, his underground rappers have now been transformed from rappers to bread sellers in traffic and they are making good money for their work.

Edward Nana Opoku Osei, popularly known as Hammer, is the founder and CEO of the ‘Last Two Music Group’ and also known for grooming some industry greats like Obrafuor, Tinny, Sarkodie, Edem and many others.

In an interview monitored by MYNEWSGH.com, Hammer said his newfound business of selling bread is more lucrative than music.

“I am making more money by selling [A1] bread more than I do in music.” Hammer said.

Hammer partnered owner of A1 Bread, Godfred Boateng to expand the bread business from Kumasi where it was, to Accra.

“He has done well for himself in Kumasi through the A1 Bread. I discussed with him the prospects of the business and he gave me a task to ensure that A1 thrives in Accra. I’ve been doing that since 2017”, Hammer said.
