Shasha Marley to kick again with 'Immanuel Emmanuel'

After taking the scene by storm with songs like, “Maata Family”, “Twin city mafia”, “Buum Buum- Waa Waa” and many more, off his successful, “Lost and Found” album, Shasha Marley seems to have laid back to observe the scene.

The Sekondi-Takoradi born artiste, is probably one of Ghana’s most successful and influential musicians, captivating audience around the world, with his peculiar vocal and dress styles. This peculiarity has won him many applauds and recognition from across the continent.

From the KORA’s to the Ghana Music Honors, Shasha Marley has left many reasons from fans to miss him.

According to Immanuel Emmanuel, the winner of the Stars of the Future Song Contest Season 5 (2011), is set to release a patriotic song, which feature the legend. Speaking to the budding musician, he disclosed that he found no better time to release the song, which was recorded in 2012.

IMMANUEL EMMANUEL is a Ghanaian Afro-Rock artist with soul, on the song titled, S)re (Rise UP) he brings his versatility to the mic, as he serenades in a Ballad Reggae style.

Speaking to him, he eplained the inspiration behind the song, “Ghana is 60 years next year and the youth seem to be making minimum impact. My Collaboration with Shasha Marley is metaphorical. It mirrors how the young and old should come together to effect change”, said Immanuel Emmanuel. Speaking about his experience working with Shasha Marley, “It was very educational, creative and technical. Uncle Shasha taught me the elements of reggae and it was fun working with a legend. I’d do it many times over”, Emmanuel Said.
