Contrary to speculations that going against Shatta Wale has erased Kamelyeon from the phase of Ghana’s Dancehall fraternity, the Musgang boss says the former has no authority over his career as a musician.
Talking to Flex Newspaper, Kamelyeon claimed he is rather the artiste who has quashed the Kakai hit maker’s music career with his street banger titled Shatta Loose Control.
”What people don’t know is that Shatta is not even close to the visions I have in creating an empire. Shatta Wale can never kill my career, I’ve rather killed his. He has not even been able to do any proper Dancehall song after I served him with my Shatta Loose Control single. Apart from dissing me with Boosu, what’s left of him?”, the Musgang boss quizzed.
Kamelyeon added, ”Shatta is no longer even doing Dancehall. What he’s currently doing is ‘nshonaa’ music. He’s now doing all the ‘jama’ songs he mocked Samini for. The kicks in Chop Kiss, Dancehall King and Obordorbidi, is like the songs I hear by the sea. He’s now a fisherman singer by all standards.” The Party Cup singer went on to say that, Shatta was already not picking up his calls before their altercation came up and so they have not been on talking terms for some time now.
Kamelyeon said he did no wrong with the interview he granted Pluzz FM some months back, neither has he regretted making his feelings about how Shatta impeded his career public. The Dancehall act is out with a new single titled The System. It featured Nosmah and it talks about how the greed of politicians causes difficulties in the system, leading to domestic violence in homes.
Yobb Yobb, One Day, To The World, Popping Juice, etc, are all great songs of Kamelyeon.
