The CEO of Event Republic has debunked claims by Shatta Wale on the AM Pluzz show with Sammy Flex that he added some books to a donation made to flood victims when last year’s June 3rd disaster happened.

Shatta Wale made this statement when he was called into the show to find out why he did not back the song he made for the flood victims with a project.

In an exclusive interview with vibesin5.com, Mel Kwesi Davis who doubles as the Executive Director of Light a Million Lives disclosed that Shatta Wale lied with the information he put out that he added his branded books to the donation exercise.

According to him, Shatta Wale did not add a single book, not even a coin to the donation they made to residents of Asylum down, Adabraka and its environs.

“Shatta Wale did not add anything to our donation, not even a coin or pin all the items we gave out came from us – Light a million lives and Quallo’s production.”, he said angrily.

When asked how Shatta Wale got to be part of the exercise in the first place, Mel Kwesi Davis stated that all the artistes they billed for their “Pre Republic Day Beach Rave” were given an open invitation to be part of the exercise and Shatta Wale was also billed for that event, for which reason he was part.

He's therefore appealing to the general public to disregard that statement, coming from Shatta Wale that he added books to their donation exercise.
