YEN.com.gh has sighted a video of self-acclaimed dancehall king of Ghana, Shatta Wale, and Nana Appiah Mensah of Zylofon Media, on social media.
The two ‘rich men’ were at the Bukom Boxing Arena during the fight between Ghanaian boxer Emmanuel Tagoe, also known as ‘Game Boy’ and Argentine boxer Fernando Saucedo, last night.
The ‘Forgetti’ hitmaker is captured wearing his recently acquired multi-coloured hairstyle and he looked very relaxed.
As expected, the audience inside the boxing arena appeared excited seeing the dancehall king and those who sat far from where he stood had to get up or stretch their necks to catch a glimpse of him.
As they stood, Shatta Wale and Nana Appiah whispered into each other’s ear; there were also with them some others believed to be moving with them.
Of course, it cannot be said what they were discussing, but according to sources, the Zylofon Media boss is currently trying to get Shatta Wale onto their management.
According to the unconfirmed reports, Zylofon is offering Shatta, born Charles Nii Amarh Mensah a colossal sum of $1.5 million with a car and house, to entice him join them.
Nana Appiah Mensah has become popular within a few years of living in Ghana.
A young man as he is, Nana is reported to own a number of businesses and therefore, is very rich.
Within a short period of time, he has been able to establish Zylofon Media, a music and movie production and artiste managing company.
Top musicians including Stonebwoy, Becca, Joyce Blessing, and movie stars such as James Gardener, Toosweet Annang and Zynell Zuh, are all under the management of Zylofone Media.
Nana Appiah Mensah also owns Zylofon FM, which is currently making waves in Accra.
He has also established the Zylofon Media Arts Fund with a seed capital of $1 million aimed at supporting arts workers with their various projects.
