From 2013 till now, ask any music lover their favorite Dancehall artiste, and you would hear the name Shatta Wale over and over again.
It’s an undeniable fact that Shatta Wale has taken over to the maximum.
Well, MOBO award-winning artiste, Emmanuel Andrews Samini was on Hitz FM and he was asked whether his fellow Dancehall act, Shatta Wale has eclipsed him because nowadays it’s just Shatta Wale-Shatta Wale and not the other way round.
According to the 'Opanaraay' hitmaker, the first team player is still the first team player and that the second team player can step into the shoes of the first team player but they are not the same.
“No, Bandana has not eclipsed me, I can’t agree; it’s like Leicester City saying they are bigger than Manchester United just because they won the premiere league.” He said.
He continued, “I even was the first parsons to put Bandana on my tour in 2004 and I’ve not seen or heard about him from that time till 2013, akyesaa.”
Samini’s annual music festival, SaminiFest will come off in December and it’s the 3rd edition.
