Shatta Wale makes it onto MTV BASE 2016 Hottest Newcomers list

Dancehall Artiste Shatta Wale’s new single “our names” has made it to the charts of Africa’s biggest music channel Mtv Base.

The song is Shatta’s fourth this year and it comes off his upcoming mixtape dubbed “Currency Year 2016”.

“Our Names” talks about the Dancehall musician’s influence in the industry.

The first ever premiere of ‘MTV Base Roundtable: Hottest Newcomers 2016’ on MTV Base (DStv Channel 322) was on Friday (5 February) at 17:00 C.A.T.

It aired again on Saturday (6 February) at 11:30 C.A.T and on Monday (8 February) at 09:00 C.A.T.
