Dancehall musician Shatta Wale has finally visited the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo after the president invited him to the Flagstaff House in a tweet.
The President on October 17, 2017 tweeted a good will message to Shatta Wale amid his birthday celebrations and asked the dancehall artist to pay him a visit.

The President later encouraged him to continue with his book campaign because it is a solid thing to do.
“All through the campaign, you were right there in our face,” he said.
President Akufo-Addo later recounted how his vice Dr. Bawumia came unto the campaign platform to talk about Kakai, one of Shatta Wale’s hit song.
In reply to the Shatta Wale’s land cruiser request, the President said: “I don’t have a land cruiser but I have a small momentum from the Presidency.”
Shatta Wale also showed a key that the Mayor of Worcester presented to him to the President for blessings.
“You know when I went to the States I met the Mayor of Worcester, and they gave me this key. I said to myself that any day I get the opportunity to meet you, I will just present it to you for you to bless it for me because it is so much for my career” he said.
The CEO of EIB Network Bola Ray who recently presented a G-Wagon to Shatta Wale on his birthday was present at the meeting.
