It seems all is not well as Bulldog, former manager of dancehall act, Shatta Wale has opened new wounds of squabble over the latter’s alleged attempt to kidnap a member of Bulhaus Entertainment.
In a recent interview Bulldog granted Hitz FM, he alleged that Shatta Wale planned to kidnap one member of Bulhaus Entertainment over a scanty GH¢600.00 Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO) royalties.
“I thought they were into music. For 600 Ghana Cedis? I thought these guys were rich. He made it seem as if we have squandered some huge money. We won’t squander his money…” Bulldog said on Hitz FM.
Bulldog who was dissatisfied with his former artiste’s attitude said the GH¢600.00 was sent to his account hence he expected the kidnappers to come for him and not his fellow colleague.
He added that, he won’t let the matter rest as his team has reported the incident to the Regional police CID to work and investigate the matter since kidnapping is a serious criminal offense.
According to Bulldog, GHAMRO owes him way over the GH¢600.00 thus could not fathom why Shatta Wale will employ such criminal tactic to reclaim his money.
“I’ve three four times that money at GHAMRO. We’ve taken steps to report to the regional CID. They’re working on the case. We thought it was a girl calling him for business. Unknowingly, it was one of Shatta Wale’s guys, Bone and Blade who masterminded the kidnap plan…
“I think it’s unlawful and they don’t have the right to do that. You can’t take the law into your hands. I had to find out. He is even sick. The thing is still eating him up. This is a serious offense. . I don’t want confrontation with them when we get there, they would know the truth in the matter. . It is not huge money but that is how they have made it seem…”
“Maybe he needs to pump his tire or buy gum with the money. The money came to me. I received the money. They should have kidnapped me….” He added.
However, the dancehall act (Shatta Wale) recently in his Facebook Live Video claimed he and his management reported the case to the Legon Police Station to invite the young man who allegedly received his royalties to solve the matter amicably.
The award winning dancehall act said, after the police had interrogated the Team member from Bulhaus Entertainment, he denied ever receiving any money from GHAMRO.
“I told the boy that he is rather denting the image of GHAMRO but he still persist that he had never received any amount being royalty from GHAMRO so I told myself that I won’t allow this matter to die, I will follow up till the truth is known because this is getting too serious,” Shatta Wale said.
He has for the time been given GHAMRO the ultimatum to check through their files carefully to know who has been taking his royalties.
The dancehall musician few days ago threatened to take GHAMRO on for failing to pay his royalties.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, May 3, the ‘chop kiss’ hit singer threatened to go out of control if GHAMRO royalties due him are not paid.
