Shatta Wale quotes bible verse to support why he kissed Stonebwoy

Shatta Wale has explained why he kissed his colleague Stonebwoy at their press conference. According to him, his kiss which he described as a "Jesus kiss" was based on the holy scriptures.

Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy held a joint press conference at the Marriot Hotel in Accra on Tuesday, June 4, 2019.

Dubbed the peace conference, the presser was to confirm the newly-brokered peace between the two artistes and also share their plans to maintain the unity. Among the many moments captured at the press conference was Shatta Wale kissing Stonebwoy on the cheek as the latter addressed a question.

Shatta's move got many people laughing and wondering what was happening. Speaking about the kiss on social media, Shatta Wale quoted 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 26 which reads in the King James Version as "Greet all the brethren with a holy kiss." Shatta Wale who shared a video of the kiss moments on Instagram also sent shoutout to his fans and those of Stonebwoy. "Greet all the believers with the kiss of peace. 1 Thessalonians 5:26 Shout out to all my Bhim and SM fans," the Shatta Movement boss wrote.

Shatta Wale's post got a lot his followers excited with many taking to the post to share their thoughts.
