Ghanaian dancehall artist Charles Nii Armah Mensah otherwise known as Shatta Wale has thrown a shot at 4Syte TV for showing an uncensored music video on its TV channel.
Showing what the channel considers “Trends” on Friday afternoon, the musical channel aired an uncensored music video from Jamaican dancehall artist Kranium which featured Ty Dollar Sign Nobody Has to Know.
This caught the attention of Shatta Wale who took to Instagram to question why he couldn’t have a music video with similar content aired on TV if Ghanaians saw nothing wrong with that from a foreigner.
Shatta Wale recently came under immense criticism for releasing a profane song.
This prompted the leadership of the Musicians Union of Ghana to release a statement calling on musicians to be extra cautious of the content of their music.
Have you really paid attention to some of the digital channel channels in Ghana and the dirty content they show? Share with us which channel is most culpable of such offence?
