There is a photo that has emerged on social media in which a couple of actors are spotted obviously having a binge in all merriment at a supposed funeral of Nii Odoi Mensah the former president of the Screen Actors Guild.
The final funeral rite commenced on Friday at the forecourt of Trade Fair Centre in La, Accra and he was laid to rest on Saturday.
Nii Odoi Mensah reportedly struggled to raise funds for his kidney treatment until he finally died a few weeks ago in China.
His appeal for funds caught the attention of some benevolent Ghanaians who came to his aid.
The late actor’s colleagues were said to have gathered after the funeral and spent some time and money on a heavy dose of alcohol.
The uproar now on the social media is why they would not contribute to help Nii Odoi and rather spend money to quaff away their sorrow.
