Afia Schwarzenegger has entered the fray of the ongoing debate regarding the dissolution of Fella Makafui and Medikal's marriage, which has sparked widespread discussion on social media platforms.

In the wake of Medikal's public disclosure of their separation, the online community has expressed dismay, pondering the reasons behind the breakup of what seemed to be an ideal marriage.

Various media outlets that have featured either Fella Makafui or Medikal have delved into the details of their split, with MzGee's notable interview with the rapper standing out.

Nonetheless, Afia Schwarzenegger has called for a more compassionate approach towards the former couple.

She has voiced her disapproval of the relentless scrutiny of their private matters, particularly during media interviews, pointing out that it has escalated to the point of harassment towards Fella.

While she is not pleased with the outcome of their union, she believes it was the preferable alternative, suggesting that staying together could have led to more severe consequences.

Afia posed a rhetorical question to the public, questioning if they would have preferred the couple to remain in a detrimental marriage that could have resulted in tragedy.

Medikal is my child, Fella is my child. Although I am unhappy about what is happening, they are adults. Should we have allowed both of them to continue to stay with each other and kill themselves? Is that what you want? Are Medikal and Fella the only people who have gone through a break-up?

“It is not enough that you people are harassing Fella, now every entertainment platform wants to tap from it. You are harassing the poor girl; she is going through a divorce. Do you know what it means to go through a divorce? What stupidity is this?," she fumed during a TikTok live.

Moreover, she lamented the media's tendency to intrude upon celebrities' personal lives rather than highlight their professional achievements.

“The entertainment industry has been reduced to the lifestyle of entertainers. It’s not about our craft anymore and it’s sad,” she added.
