The fifth Shouts of Victory (SOV) musical outreach, an annual event to unearth and develop talents of young and upcoming young artists would be held in Accra, from Friday October 20 to 22, 2017.

The SOV is a brain child of the Christ Embassy Church, Ghana, to develop the youth in Music and Arts, as well as assist them to develop their career and their spiritual upbringing.

This year’s event on the theme, “Shouts of Victory: A Career Development Opportunity for the Youth” would have a day’s career development training programme.

The training programme dubbed “My Call My Career” would offer the opportunity for the youth to translate their talents into marketable brands.

Over the years, the event produced lots of young talents including Sinach, Frank Edwards, Eben and South Africa gospel artist dynamo Martin Phike.

Pastor Earnest Omoleme, Zonal Pastor, Christ Embassy East West Central Africa Zone five, who announced this at a media briefing in Accra, said they believed the event could impact real changes in the lives of the youth; helping them to create a niche for themselves in the Music and Arts industry.

He said: “God is a God of talents and he gave everyone a gift to enable each individual to have a good live.

“Everyone is blessed by their own gifts and have the opportunity to use these talents to stand for themselves,” he added.

Pastor Omoleme who is also the Head Pastor, Christ Embassy Nungua, said to achieve the above there was the need to nurture these individuals to discover the talents they have and that has been the aim of the Christ Embassy for these past years.

“We assist the young and upcoming artists to discover the different talents each of them have and we then guard them to nurture and develop theses talents to their own benefits.

“We pick them from the raw state, develop them and project them to become famous gospel artists,” he said, adding, “it is important to let the youth understand that they could do it for themselves”.

Pastor Omoleme said apart from developing peoples’ talents, their spiritual upbringing was more important for the Church, “so we take them through series of spiritual preparations to expose them to the gospel to ensure that they are spiritually strong before they go out”.

Renowned multiple award winning artists such as ADA, BUCHI, DAMUSIC, OBI SHINE, among others are billed to minister at SOV 2017.

About 30 participants are expected for the Show.
