Management of Silverbird have congratulated the Ghana Black Stars for their laudable performance in South Africa 2010."We are happy to share in the glory of the Stars and we are nostalgic about the atmosphere the tournament created in the country.
Silverbird became a soccer city, housing thousands of football fans and supporters. The environment was that of camaraderie, excitement, love and patriotism" said General Manager Albert Mensah.
"We commend the Stars for their commitment, courage and resilience, at the 2010 World Cup. They showed character and fortitude and they should not rest but continue to fight until we bring the Cup home.
Together with the coach and management, the team gave off their best and we at Silverbird are very proud of them" said Mr. Mensah. Silverbird encourages the Black Stars not to relent on their determination to be the first African nation to win the World Cup. "We believe in the Ghana Black Stars. Go Black Stars Go!"
