Silverbird to celebrate 3 years in Ghana

Silverbird Ghana is gearing itself up for a memorable third year anniversary celebrations this November. In what is promised to be an event that will thrill movie lovers and entertainment enthusiasts, Silverbird Ghana will from November 11-29 dish out a series of fun packed activities and huge surprises lined up for its third anniversary celebrations.

In a three-week long anniversary celebrations that promises to rekindle and bring most of Ghana’s celebrities onto one platform, Silverbird’s third anniversary celebration will definitely rock the Accra Mall with the ‘Silverbird experience’ .

Managing Director of Silverbird Ghana Limited Akwasi Agyeman, explains that ‘as an all round entertainment centre, we are poised to redefining entertainment in Ghana and to giving our customers and non customers alike an opportunity to enjoy themselves to the maximum. We believe in giving our customers value for their money. It will be an all round entertainment affair here at the cinemas during the month of November – fun making, networking, movies, games, education and more for all groups of people including children, students, corporate groups and adults”.

Head of Public Relations for Global Media Alliance, mother Company of Silverbird Ghana Limited, Rosemond Aryeetey noted that ‘we will begin our celebrations with a grand launch and an official premiering of ‘The Heist’, which will be followed by a celebrity day and look-alike contest. This is a unique platform where our customers will get to interact and hang out with their favourite celebrities, and also have the unique opportunity of taking photos with them. There is what we call ‘minus 3’ where our customers get to pay GHC 3.00 less on our regular tickets prices. We are basically thanking our customers for their support all these years with this anniversary’.

She added that Silverbird will give the opportunity to three different schools to watch movies at the mall at different times as part of its CSR activities for the anniversary period. In addition, a donation of educational materials will be made to a selected school.
