Despite having to brave the bitter experiences of growing up without his biological parents being present, Ghanaian budding singer, Famaye, has gained legitimacy as one of Ghana’s musical talents.
Oblivious of who his biological parents are and having to brave the bitter experiences of growing up without them, Famaye, an emerging music talent has become a familiar name within Ghana’s music circle.
The inspiring singer grew up not setting an eye on his parents and had to make lemonade out of the bitter lemons life presented him.
Famaye, who is fast gaining recognition from his hit song “Nothing I get”, shared a touching life experience, he says, inspires his craft.
He revealed in an interview that he has never seen his parents before because he lost them when he was only a year old.
Fameye indicated that the experience influences the touching songs he has because he knows his parents are watching.
Speaking in a Ghanaian language, Twi, the singer said: “I have never seen my parents. I was one-year-old when they passed away so my grandmother brought me up.
My parents inspire me a lot. I loved King Ayisoba’s style, I followed him too and he motivated me. I am not married but I would when the time is right,” the singer said.
Reacting to a video of him singing, which went viral and eventually launched his career into the spotlight, he said: “I never thought I would blow. I only wanted my fans to know I am around with the video I posted on social media. I wanted to be relevant. I wanted to push myself to the top but I never knew it would project me like this.”
