"Sir BORAX" Kojo Forson, a leading guitarists in the country on Saturday astounded Gospel Music lovers who throng the National Theatre to witness "Harvest Praise 2004" with his mastery of the six-string musical instrument.

Sir BORAX, who is a Deacon at Harvest Chapel, blended acrobatic display of the feet, and body with jerking movements of the hands and teeth on the guitar to the amassment of the audience, who acknowledged it with "Holy Ghost Charismatic shouts" and wavering of white handkerchief.

The show, "Harvest Praise 2004", was organised by Harvest Gospel Choir, under the auspices of the Harvest Chapel International, an evangelistic ministry, which is committed to reaching out to people with the gospel of Jesus Christ through music, drama, preaching and teaching.

It all started with powerful Holy Spirit filled praises and worship that momentarily transformed the venue from a theatre to a sanctuary with bees of handkerchief waving, dancing and shouting charismatic audience. The Harvest Choir immediately took the stage and moved the "congregation" into a spiritual higher gear with angelic voice and chorographic vivacity that kept most people standing, dancing and clapping throughout the three-hour show.

In keeping with the saying that: "There is no second chance to make a first impression," other musicians invited to grace the occasion including; Christiana Love with her hit-song, 'Metease, menwu yeo' and Cynthia Macauley threw the audience into wild excitement as they demanded more of it at the end of the show.

The key element of Harvest Praise was the message of hope, delivered by the Head Pastor the Reverend Fitzgerald Odonkor, who stressed the importance of the death of Jesus Christ and His exemplary life of forgiving those who inflected pains on Him.

He urged all to emulate the life of the Lord Jesus Christ and forgive unconditionally, those who had offended, betrayed and insulted them "as that serves as the key for greater victory over forces of darkness, evil and disarms the enemy".

Rev Odonkor said the most important single event that had ever occurred in the history of mankind was the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, which offered the world the opportunity to reconcile with God. Most members of the audience the Ghana News Agency spoke to after the show noted that the group was unique in style and in harmony. "We have seen and heard lots and lots of Gospel groups perform but this show is simply fantastic and very unique," one member of the audience remarked.

A Minister of the Gospel praised the group saying, "I can testify that they have performed excellently and behaved themselves with a high sense of Christian maturity.

"They exhibited musical professionalism, stage conformity and audience control as well as cathexis from the start to the end with every song." Another Minister said: "Tears filled my eyes on the resounding shouts and screams and the thunderous roar of the audience as the choir performed their last song."
