Entertainment pundit Mr. Logic has voiced his unease regarding the events that unfolded during rapper Medikal’s Indigo O2 arena concert on May 3, 2024.

The event was a major success, featuring performances with top artistes like Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Bisa Kdei, Malcolm Nuna, and Jay Bhad.

The event took an unexpected turn when Medikal performed with his ex, Sister Derby. Among the songs they performed was her diss track aimed at him and his estranged wife, Fella Makafui.

This performance ignited debates on social media, particularly because it followed Medikal's recent announcement of his separation from Fella Makafui.

Speaking on the Saturday, May 4, 2024, edition of UTV’s United Showbiz, Mr. Logic criticised the performance of Sister Derby at the event.

He suggested that her taking the stage should not have occurred, especially considering the recent news of Medikal's supposed split from his wife.

Mr. Logic further claimed that the performance seemed like an attempt by Sister Derby to rekindle her relationship with Medikal and potentially cause pain to Fella.

"I also wasn’t comfortable with Sister Derby’s performance; she’s his ex, and the whole situation felt like she had taken advantage of the opportunity to grab Medikal back and hurt Fella.

"She took advantage of the situation; she is his ex, and I think she is happy now that Medikal and his wife have supposedly split.

"Among all the artists there, Sister Derby shouldn’t have performed because the split was too fresh for the two of them to be together," he told MzGee, the host of United Showbiz.

Commenting on Medikal’s declaration of being single at the concert and going further to share his hotel room number, Mr. Logic said it was unnecessary and disrespectful to Fella.

"I wish he hadn’t come to make that statement about him being single. It wasn’t necessary; that's a part of the show that I wish hadn’t happened. It felt like an insult or a mockery of his wife," he said.
