The self-acclaimed nation’s worshiper, Bro Sammy recently broke record by releasing arguably the first ever gospel diss song titled ‘Nnipa Fo‘ just to demean his perpetrators in Ghana music industry.

Right after the release, music enthusiasts in Ghana after listening to the song could associate the lyrical content of the song to that of Slim Buster’s Hiplife song titled ‘Nhyira’ which featured Tinny. But Bro Sammy made it clear on Radio Univers’ BigX show that he consulted the approval of Slim Buster’s management before sampling his song.

Contrary to what Bro Sammy said on Radio Univers, Nana Reagan, manager of Slim Buster has told Mike 2 on Accra-based Adom FM that the Bro Sammy did not seek their consent before sampling his artiste’s song, ‘Nhyira’. As a result, they’re planning to take a legal action against the ‘cantankerous’ gospel musician.

“We going to take action against him, as I am speaking now we have written a complaint letter to GHAMRO to make an official report to seek for assistance in any action that might be taken.

According to the manager, the team is not going to spare the artist since he (Sammy) did what he did without consulting them for their approval or otherwise.

“If Bro Sammy and his team become reasonable enough there could be some arbitration to settle the matter amicably by paying some compensation because he has, 100%, reproduced the song”, he concluded.
