After several Ghanaians including gospel musicians raised their voices against Bro. Sammy‘s new single, Nipa Foo song released weeks back, highlife singer Slim Buster has deepened the minister’s woes with court threat.

Nana Reagan, manager of the legendary highlife artiste real name Ebenezer Asare has told Mike 2 on Accra-based Adom FM that the gospel artiste known in real life as Samuel Opoku did not seek their consent before using portions of his artiste’s song, ‘Nhyira’ which features Tinny.

According to him, Slim Buster is planning to sue the controversial gospel musician if he does not approach them to do the necessary.

He stated that they have written to the Ghana Music Right Organisation, GHAMRO informing them about Bro. Sammy taking their works without their permission.

“We going to take action against him, as I am speaking now we have written a complaint letter to GHAMRO to make an official report to seek for assistance in any action that might be taken.

If he [Sammy] and his team become reasonable enough there could be some arbitration to settle the matter amicably by paying some compensation because he has, 100%, reproduced the song” Reagan said on the show last Saturday.

Bro. Sammy however speaking on Radio Univers’ BigX show before management of Slim Buster telling their plans to go to court revealed that he has already spoken to the producer of Slim Buster and hence does not believe there is going to be any issue so it comes as a surprise to Zionfelix.net to hear Nana Reagan giving different account.
