Sly Collins & Co To Celebrate Olusegun Obasanjo B'day In Ghana

Sly Collins will bring unique performance of world class songs to the Castle of the current Head of State, President John Agyekum Kufuor as he host President Olusegun Obasanjo, other African presidents, and high dignitaries in line with our golden jubilee celebrations on 7th March, 2007.

This also year marks the 70th birthday for the Nigerian president which fell on 5th March.

This is an event organized by MUSIGA under the auspices of the Ghana@50 secretariat and will see performances by the best musicians you can every think of.

Sly Collins being chosen is a good one as he will now get his messages of unification among Africans to the African heads.

Sly Collins has been a full-time musician for more than 10 years, and has bee featured at major festivals across the world on public televisions and radios in and out of Ghana.

Those attending the strictly-by-invitation event are encouraged to bring along a towel because Sly Collins has promised to dish out the best from his music bag that day because it?s a day for all African and not only Ghanaians.

Sly Collins has successfully launched his third album, ?Total Unity? and his mission in the music industry has always been to bring total unity among people.

Expected African leaders that will be there are President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, (Algeria), President Festus Mogae of Botswana, President Blaise Campoare (Burkina Faso), President Paul Biya (Cameroun), President Pedro Pires (Cape Verde), President Ahmad Abdullah Sambi (Comoros), President Joseph Kabila (DR Congo), President Muamar al Gadafi (Libya), President Amadou Toumani Toure (Mali), President Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria (Guest of honor), President Bingu wa Mutharika (Malawi), President Armando Emelio Guebuza of Mozambique, President Hifikepunye Pohamba of Namibia, President Paul Kagame (Rwanda), President Thabo Mbeki (South Africa), President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete (Tanzania), President Faure Gnassingbe (Togo), President Levy Mwanawasa (Zambia) and President Robert Mugabe (Zimbabwe).
