So They Set Fire To Meridian FM?

A couple of weeks ago, on Meridian FM’s Saturday afternoon political programme, one of the NPP’s serial callers called into the programme and threatened that the station will be burnt down and it seems as if that threat has been carried out.

It is not a secret that the NPP has been trying very desperately to close down Meridian FM.

Why, did Oboshie Sai Coffie not write a letter to Meridian FM threatening to close down the station for no just reason? But for the resilience of untie Diana at the time, Oboshie may have succeeded in closing down the station.

It is quite clear that the NPP government is very intolerant of views that tell it in the face that it has failed Ghanaians hence the numerous attempts to close down Meridian FM.

Unable to close down the station, they decided to set it ablaze. Yes, Meridian FM was deliberately torched.

Uncle JB has it on authority that the day before the station was burnt down, the CEO of Meridian FM got a call from the national security minister threatening her.

Yes, untie Diana got a call from the national security capo threatening her for no apparent reason.

Why would the national security capo want to threaten untie Diana? I have no answers. The best person to answer that question is the security capo himself. Disgraceful cowards!!1

According to people who were around, before the fire started, they heard a loud blast.

And from what uncle JB gathers, it was a petrol bomb that was used to burn the place.

Indeed, uncle JB knows it for a fact that a part of the mosquito netting was cut open and metal bars forced wide open to make space for the petrol bomb. I am sure for those of you who listen to Meridian FM, you must be aware that as the Christmas approaches, the station has been asking people to donate used clothing to be passed on to the needy.

Well, the bombers were very much aware that used clothing was being stored in a particular office so they targeted that office and landed the petrol bomb there so that the clothes will be a good conductor of the fire. My people, I am telling you that the fire that gutted Meridian FM was not by chance; it was planned by people who think that Meridian FM is a thorn in the flesh of the NPP.

As far as the NPP is concerned, all Ghanaians should keep quiet and suffer. And because Meridian FM has provided a platform for people, especially Gas, to speak their mind on matters of concern to them, the NPP has done the unthinkable and set fire to the station.

The Gãs have had all their prime lands stolen by the NPP government, the Gas have had a so-called chief planted on them, and the NPP wants Gas to keep quiet and swallow such bitter pills.

I hear Oboshi Sai Coffie rushed to the place with a horde of pressmen to go and pretend to be sympathizing with untie Diana and co.
