Bishop Kwabena Asiamah, popularly known as Ajagurajah, has explained why he believes curses issued on social media can have spiritual consequences.

Speaking in a recent interview on Angel TV, the Ajagurajah Movement founder argued that the effectiveness of a curse does not necessarily depend on the physical presence of the person being cursed.

According to him, there is a difference between cursing someone in their absence and directly confronting them with the curse.

“When a man and a woman have sex on a video call, do they satisfy themselves or not? Social media curses work very effectively. When someone curses you and you don’t hear it yourself, it wouldn’t work immediately. Someone cursing you because they hate you is not the same as being cursed in front of you,” he said.

He likened spirituality to the judicial system, explaining that spiritual consequences may take time to manifest when the person does not immediately hear the curse.

He shared that curses made on social media can eventually reach their intended targets through bloggers and other people who share the content.

“Spirituality is like the earth’s judicial system. So, when someone curses you in your absence, it would take time for it to work. When I curse someone on social media, I know the bloggers will spread it and the person will eventually hear about it. That way, I have served the person one way or the other,” he stated.

Ajagurajah also disclosed that he deliberately avoids reading insults directed at him on social media, although people close to him sometimes relay the content to him.

“Most of the time, when someone insults me on social media, I don’t see it personally. One of my boys normally tells me, but I tell him I wouldn’t watch it, so he should rather narrate it to me,” he added.
