Social media reacts to video of Nadia Buhari preparing fufu

Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari left fans in awe after she shared a video of herself preparing fufu, a local Ghanaian delicacy.

‘Fufu’ which involves the boiling and pounding of sliced cassava and plantain is a staple of Ghanaian food usually eaten on Sundays in many homes.

In a video shared on her X handle on August 18, 2024, Nadia Buhari could be seen meticulously turning the fufu while an unidentified man was pounding it with a pestle.

In the voice-over, Nadia humorously comments, "This video is just basically to show you how mindful I am of turning this fufu. You see how I'm doing it? I'm taking my time. I'm being very mindful. Very cutesy. Yes. Look at that. So demure. I'm being very demure. You see how I'm holding my hair, trying to make sure you guys have a little glimpse of my face? So demure."

The video sparked a wave of reactions from fans and followers on social media. Many humorously commented on her humility and poise despite her celebrity status.
