Social media trends: Bride attacked for 'inappropriate' wedding gown

Wedding ceremonies are very important and special to couples, family members and friends. The day of the wedding has always been considered special since it is considered as “once in a lifetime” experience especially for the bride.

The bride will engage in intensive preparation before the wedding to make sure everything is perfect on the wedding day.

With the mindset of looking more beautiful on the day, the bride takes a critical look at the type of gown to wear, hair, makeup, decoration, food and everything, which sometimes can lead to a bad day.

However, in some churches in Ghana, there are strict laws that bind brides on the type of wedding gown to wear on their wedding day mainly to ensure decency.

Since last week, a bride has been under attack on social media for wearing a more exposing gown on her special day, revealing a bigger section of her boobs to friends and families gathered at the event.

The bride’s wedding gown has attracted negative comments on social media while others, on the other hand, see nothing wrong with the dress.
