Many actors and actresses are multi-talented. Some can act and sing, others can act and rap, as well as do other things that bring out their versatility.
Many actors, local in international have come out with singles or featured in songs or movies, and so it was no surprise when Kumawood actress Emelia Brobbey, decided to venture into music.
Her ‘Kae me’ single, and ‘Save the orphan’ collaboration with Brother Sammy, which was released three years ago, goes a long way to prove that she has the vocal ability to churn out some good songs… or not?
But Emelia Brobbey's recent song titled 'Fa Me Ko' has birthed a lot of controversy on social media.
The one-minute teaser of the song which was shared by Akuma Mama Zimbi on her Facebook page with the caption ‘wow @emiliabrobbey' drew the attention of many of her fans to listen to the music.
Many of the fans who saw the teaser were not impressed and shared their disapproval of the song.
Whiles some fans thought it was a complete disaster and a waste of studio time and data, others thought it would rather serve her well to just stick to the acting and leave the singing bit to those who are naturally gifted to sing.
For example, a fan by name Kuu Ku said “So you yourself is the music nice in your ears? Aden nipa nni wo fie? Data is damn expensive paaa these days. People must be considerate in posting things that'll waste our data. You're wicked!!"
Another fan advised that Emelia Brobbey should rather go for voice training. He said “I like you as an actress. Please allow me to be frank with you. Please go for proper voice training. Thank you".
“Whoever encouraged You is wicked paaa.. bueiii! For Your akuantsire, get 10 sticks of khebab and use them to form a circle, and stand in the middle. Break and lose," this fan teased.
