Ghanaian music producer, Fred Kyei Mensah, member of Creative Arts for Change has asked fellow colleague Socrate Safo to stay back and stop putting pressure on the new administration for appointment as deputy minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture.
According to Fred on OB TV’s Hello Entertainment Box Socrates’ time will come, if he truly deserves the position and that he shouldn’t lobby through Facebook.
“Socrate is my best friend, we all together formed Creative arts for change with okraku mantey. Apart from him, have you seen anyone openly campaigning for a ministerial position?” Kyei quoted.
“Yes, he is putting pressure on the President. The President just chose his ministers who are going to be vetted and you are campaigning vigorously for a deputy”
He however recommended one Kojo Antwi as the person fit for the job.
