Fast rising, gospel songstress Agnes Kesewaa Wahyie best known by her stage name as Kesewaa Kessy has lamented that some Gospel Musicians are only after the fame and not the impact.

She explained that, some Gospel Musicians don’t really take time to prepare what they come out with. “Getting the name and fame is what is more important to some of us.” She said.

“Because of the name and fame, some gospel artistes don’t prepare well before coming out with a song. I believe that if we prepare well, we will be able to produce high quality music and videos.”

Kesewaa said this in relation to the low quality of some gospel music videos that we have seen over the years.

Kesewaa Kessy who is ready to drop her third album dubbed “Don’t give up”, explained that, the album is packed with powerful songs that was inspired by personal experiences.

The “Adom Mmroso” hit maker also hinted that, she is set to embark on a tour in Eastern Africa, South Africa and Europe between now and early next year when the album is officially released, which according to her, will help her and her management to prepare the grounds for a good harvest.

The headline song for the tour is “Jambo” which means “Hello” in Swahili. This song, according to her, highlights every message that the album portrays.

“de Hits” Media Production is in charge of the production and distribution of the “Don’t give up” album which is Kesewaa’s yet to be released third album. In 2009, she came out with “Ewuradi Ye” and “Adom Mmoroso” in 2013.

During the 2016 elections, Kessy was appointed as UNAID Peace Ambassador for peace where she used her influence to propagate the message of peace before, during and after the elections.
