There is a brand new hiplife duo in town who call themselves Soso & So and this duo is responsible for twelve exciting tracks on an album titled ?You Sef Mo Know?

There are elements on this album that puts it in a league fundamentally different from what one usually finds in regular, contemporary hiplife. In the first place the duo is behind almost every sound on the album.

Secondly, the album boasts of highlife vibes and flavours that undoubtedly takes the listeners on a nostalgic voyage back in time, a time when highlife was the pride of the country. Soso & So achieved this by incorporating sweet Ghanaian rhythms into solid danceable beats weaving all this into the beautiful songs.

But this is not to say that these tracks belong to an older era, the duo have been able to find that fine balance between the old and the new that both young and old will enjoy.

The brains behind all this are Desmond Appiah-Boateng (Bigg D) a veteran musician whose experience in the field is rich because of his being a music director at the John Teye Memorial School and who is now a lecturer with a reputable Music Conservatory in Denmark.

Robert Assan (Raw B) is the other brain and he is currently pursing his Masters in Applied Economics at the Copenhagen Business School and who has been playing the guitar, bass and keyboard from an early age.

In short Bigg D and Raw B simply teamed up to let their creativity assert itself and the result was this collection of the 12 beautiful songs which represent the natural evolution path for Ghanaian highlife music.
