Amidst the consistent hiplife group artistes in the saturated hiplife game, there seems to be some hope in the Ghanaian music scene as Soulatidoe returns home. The amazing thing is that they have been here for a few weeks and the appraisals they have been receiving is surprising. Trust me, after being away for some years, they are still regarded as one of the best hiplife groups in Ghana.

Members of the group, Soulnana and Latidoe are back after a long stay to promote their new album and do what they love doing most – to be with the fans. Judging by the feedback we got on Ghana Music.com, I can tell you that Soulatidoe now has a huge fan base and could become hiplife’s favourite group right away since they have started promotion of their ‘Wo Ye Huuhuu, Wo Yehyeehyee’ album.

Ghana Music.com was the very first site to feature Soulatidoe that they were coming and finally they are here. For now what Soulatidoe are doing are shows across the country and working on numerous musical projects. Not forgetting their fans, some of them will get to hang out with them for a day and win goodies from Soulatidoe.

Headlining some major shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York because of their tight and unique lyrical content, they hope to do the same here as they have started with Music Music and the Vibe Vibrant Carnival 2005.

People who know Soulatidoe well will know that their first album, ‘Ka Wano Tumu’ raised hiplife music to a higher level when hiplife music was just growing. They have set a trend and are following it up with their new ten-track album with songs like ‘Wo Ye Huuhuu, Wo Yehyeehyee’, ‘Eye No De’, ‘Wo Ne Beye’, ‘Ena Pa Ye’, ‘Yepe Ntem’, ‘Eye Hwaenom Nie’, etc.

Their fame, skills, tracks, highlife connotations and decent lyrics on their second album will definitely stand tall among hiplife artistes in Ghana.

Multi-talented Soulatidoe produced their first album and are again producing the second album except ‘Ena Pa Ye’, which was produced by Lavon Stonum Jnr. and Tsuyoshi Takayanagi. Lucille Crawford, a female gospel artiste has been a backing vocalist for them on their two albums.

For now all they want their patient fans to do is get copies of their albums or call Steven, their manager on +233 24 4666 492.
