Gospel artiste Gifty Osei has called on the government to ensure that Airline company Starbow’s flight operation meets internally acceptable standards to ensure passenger safety.

Her comment comes in the wake of Starbow flight’s shaky landing at the Tamale Airport in the Northern region Tuesday morning.

A similar situation happened last year in the same month and same day.

Gifty Osei was part of the passengers aboard a Starbow flight which made an emergency landing at the Kotoka International Airport on Tuesday 28th October 2014 after developing a mechanical fault mid-air.

According to the artiste, only God saved the nation from a major catastrophe as the plane looked like heading for a crash.

She took to Instagram to express her displeasure.

Gifty is set to organise a gospel show on her birthday, 25 October dubbed Ubufakazi Bami.
