Ahead of its official launch, Starr 103.5 FM has partnered telecom giant, MTN for its reality show ‘MTN Hitmaker’.
This was announced during the launch of Season 3 of the MTN Hit-Maker music talent search; a project open to up-and-coming musicians with unique styles and who can compose and perform their own music.
The previous editions of the reality show have been a huge success and everyone saw the wonderfully transformed talents on television for several weeks, before the final showdown at the Accra International Conference Centre.
The Hit-Maker initiative is championed by MTN, and supported by the MTN Ghana Foundation, under the auspices of the Youth Empowerment Programme in partnership with the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA).
The MTN Hit-Maker Season Two which was won by Koo Ntakra had a prize package, a recording and artiste management deal worth GH¢100,000 and GH¢50,000 for the first runner-up.
Fans of contestants of the reality show would be regularly updated by Starr 103.5 FM which would commence operation in August in an urban onslaught that is set to turn heads on mainstream radio.
