Gospel musician Bismark Takyi has warned celebrities who are endorsing political parties for their selfish gains to desist from doing so or they will incur the wrath of God.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with rainbowradioonline.com, he said, some of the celebrities are only endorsing politicians for their selfish gains and not necessarily, to the benefit of citizens.
Although he declined to mention names, he noted that the celebrities who are taking money from politicians to endorse them for their selfish gains should desist from that.
Bismark Takyi was, however, quick to add that; it is not wrong for a celebrity to endorse a political party since, in his view, they are entitled to support parties they want.
He said, celebrities endorsing politics is not bad. Its a very good thing because we are all Ghanaians. We have the right to exercise our franchise. So if someone decides to support party A or party B, it is not wrong.
But those endorsing politicians for their selfish gains should stop doing that. God will not forgive them for what they are doing,'' he stressed
He went on to say that musicians endorsing politicians are affected negatively especially if the party they endorsed loses.
Bismark Takyi released his first album in 2012 titled 'Akyedie' which had eight tracks on it.
His second and latest album, 'Higher Heights' contains 11 tracks and featured award-winning male gospel musician, OJ.
Bismark Takyi said, ''I released my first album in 2012, but I started doing music at a tender age, playing almost all the musical instruments; keyboard, guitar bass and lead, drums and also trumpet and my motivation is the word of God, '' he added.
His works include his videos have been uploaded to YouTube, iTunes, Amazon, and Google PlayStation.
