Statement: Martha Ankomah is not on twitter

The management and PR team of Ghanaian actress Martha Ankomah have issued a statement to the effect that the actress has no twitter account.

The statement was released Monday, following fears that an impersonator on the social media network, twitter, could be duping unsuspecting potential clients of huge amount of money.

The statement also added that Martha will make public her official twitter account once she signs on.

Meanwhile, apologies have been rendered to anyone who has fallen victim to any kind of fraudulent act by her impersonator.

“It has come to our attention that an imposter is claiming to be Actress Martha Ankomah on twitter and negotiating deals with her fans and potential business partners.

We consider this act as unfortunate. For the record, Martha Ankomah is not on twitter and will want to appeal to her fans to disregard any person on twitter posing as Actress Martha Ankomah.

Martha will make public her tweeter account once she signs on. We will want to however apologize to her fans or anyone who has been affected in one way or the other."
