Popular theologian and pastor, Rev. Dr. Abraham Boateng, has cautioned gym instructors against having intimate relationships with married women who train in their gyms.
According to the clergyman, gym instructors, and men who frequent the gym should stay far away from married women and avoid having love relationships with such women.
He said such behaviour and acts breaks homes and could put their lives at risk.
Speaking on the Home Affairs show on TV3, he said, “This is not part of the discussion but we have realised that in the Ghanaian settings, like we have said, Gym instructors, and the gym people, they should be very careful.
“And that is not just in Ghana, the gym is fast becoming the number one place where guys pick-up women, and it is very dangerous”
In July 2021, a gym instructor, Stephen Akowuah, was murdered at his apartment at Tantra Hill.
According to report, the deceased was in his room with a woman when two men on a motorbike stormed in and shot him. The life of the woman was spared by the assailants.
