Gospel musician Stella Aba Seal is urging all to be mindful of what they eat and also speak positively about their lives.

The songstress, counted among celebrities who have refused to grow, in an interview on ‘Restoration with Stacy’ monitored by GhanaWeb, said her resolve to practice the aforementioned is what makes her look younger than her age.

“This is the temple of God” she said while point to her body. “What we feed it, we get results out of it. I think what I’ve been doing over the years is paying off. I’m very careful what I put in my body. I’m not a big meat eater, I’m careful not to overload the system. I eat because it’s time to eat. I don’t eat late…

“Also, your mindset. The Bible says ‘as a man thinks, so is he’. Every morning when I wake up, I look into the mirror and say ‘hey, what a beautiful lady you are’. I’ll take this opportunity to [advise] people to speak well of themselves… Speak positive about Ghana. When you spew negativity about Ghana, we will not benefit; words are very important.”

Stella Seal started her music career in 1990 when she put out her debut album ‘You’re In My Heart’.

Prior to this, she had wanted to become a nurse although she was scared of blood. According to her, she stumbled on music when she realized she was cut for it.

Stella trained as a secretary at the Accra Polytechnic after her GCE level in 1981 at the City Secondary and Business College at Caprice in Accra.

After Accra Polytechnic, she went to a dressmaking school at the former Singer Sewing Company, now known as Kalbs, where she learnt how to sew.

She later attended Ghana Airways Training School where she passed out with Basic Certificate in passenger handling, sales and reservation.

Having sang in the church for years, she decided to record an album in 1990 and has since been a household name.
